Waxing Half Moon
The Waxing Moon is the transition from New Moon (no moon) to Full Moon. This process takes roughly 14 days and the further the moon travels towards the Full Moon, the more light we see.
Today the Waxing Moon has reached its half-way point and lies directly at a 90-degree angle to the sun.
The Waxing Moon is the best time to start new projects, gain momentum, and be inspired. It is a very creative, outgoing time.
In the garden, the Waxing Moon is a good time to repot and plant. The first quarter is better for leaf vegetables and annual plants. The second quarter for perennials and fruit-like vegetables such as tomatoes or aubergines. Lawn care, planning new garden features, and decorating are other good activities.
