Waxing Gibbous Moon
The moon is rotating around the earth and is illuminated by the sun. The waxing phase starts just after New Moon (no moon) and carries on until the moon is fully illuminated (Full Moon). The more the moon waxes (grows) the more of a crescent we see. This whole Waxing Moon journey takes around 14 days.
The Second Quarter is also called the Waxing Gibbous Moon – this describes the journey between the Waxing Half Moon and the Full Moon.
This quarter is similar to the energy of summer. It is all about creativity, absorption, and living life to the full. This would be a great time for a spa break where you nourish your skin with body oils and anti-aging treatments. It is also a very sociable time. If you plan a presentation, get-together, wedding, and so on, the Waxing Gibbous and Full Moon is a great time. People tend to naturally be more socially active.
If you plan a romantic dinner or city break, this is the perfect time to get away.
At work, use the Waxing Moon to reach out to new employers, go for an interview and start a job. If you want to entertain clients, organise seminars or attract new clients, use this time to gather momentum.
The Second Quarter (Waxing Gibbous Moon) is the best time to sow fruit and fruit vegetables like tomatoes, cucumber, aubergines.
