Waning Half Moon
The Waning Moon is the transition between Full Moon to New Moon (no moon). This process takes 14 days and the further the moon travels towards the New Moon, the less light we see.
Today the Waning Moon has reached its half-way point and lies directly at a 90-degree angle to the sun.
The Waning Moon is the best time to work hard, lose weight, and get all those plans done that you made at the last New Moon. The halfway point is a great time to figure out what the priorities are for the next quarter and plan the next week ahead.
In the garden, the Waning Moon is a good time to turn the earth, prune trees, start a compost heap, and do some weeding.
