Waning Gibbous Moon
The Waning Moon is the transition between Full Moon to New Moon (no moon). This process takes 14 days and the further the moon travels towards the New Moon, the less light we see. Today the Waning Moon lies in its 3rd quarter, also known as the Waning Gibbous Moon.
The Waning Moon is the best time to work hard, lose weight, and get all those plans done that you made at the last New Moon. The 3rd Quarter ( Waning Gibbous Moon) is a particularly useful time for starting a weight loss program, moving projects along, evaluate progress made, and deal with difficult relationships. This could be counseling or any other kind of therapy. Or it could be talking through problems at home or work, seeing difficult clients, and making the relationship work again.
In the garden, it is a good time to plant out root vegetables, prune back bushes, and dead-head flowers.
