Haircuts to invigorate limp and thinning hair

I have been giving out ‘best hair cutting dates’ for years and when asked I honestly can’t tell you how and why it works. But I had so many people getting in touch and thanking me for their new ‘head of hair’ that I am happy to continue to pass these dates on.

So next time you need a trim, check the LWTM calendar before booking your hair cutting appointment. I know it sounds weird, but if you keep hair appointments to these dates and add the Scalp Nettle Treatment below, your hair should be healthier and fuller in a matter of a few months.

I have fortunately never needed these tips, but my grandmother had later in life thinning hair and always kept to these cutting dates.

Here is her recipe for the Scalp Nettle Treatment.

Prepare a cup of strong nettle tea (please use 2 tea bags and leave to steep for 8-10 minutes) and let the tea cool to hand warm.

Wash your hair with your normal shampoo. Try to use a mild, natural shampoo if possible and don’t wash your hair too often – every 2-3 days should be plenty.

After washing your hair, towel dray your hair and massage the lukewarm tea into your scalp. The movement together with the nettle’s natural ingredients will stimulate the hair follicles. Repeat until you have used the tea up. There is no need to wash the nettle tea out as it will continue to stimulate the hair roots and invigorate your scalp and limp hair- in a totally natural way.

By the way, this is also a great way of preventing hair loss and can be done by men and women alike to keep a healthy scalp and full and bouncy head of hair.
